About Study Tours

The International Study Tour program commenced at Stretton State College in 2006.

Each year our school Hosts Taiwanese students.

Since 2008 students from Stretton have also stayed with families at Wen Hua Elementary School in Taiwan.

International study tour programs offer valuable intracultural experiences for students of both countries. Relationships which develop as a result of school program integration, homestay and social activities provide exciting opportunities for our students to improve their foreign language skills and develop an awareness and understanding of other cultures.

Visiting students in turn develop an awareness and appreciation of our Australian lifestyle and culture.
